KAYLA HALL M.A. NCC, LCAC

Our funeral home is proud to announce the full time association of Kayla (Ballard) Hall to our full time staff.

Kayla is the daughter of Marty and Gina Ballard and lives with her husband Tim in Daleville.

Kayla received her Bachelor of Science degree  from Olivet Nazarene University in Psychology with minors in Spanish, Business, and Social Work in 2008 graduating Magna Cum Laude.

She received her Masters degree in counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a specialization in addictions.

She has worked as a graduate assistant in the counseling department of Indiana Wesleyan University, and was a childcare specialist with Youth Opportunity Center in Muncie while in graduate school.

She has worked for Anchor Families, Christian Counseling Center of Madison County (serving as an intern), and Winds of Change Counseling and Consulting Services of Winchester where she served as County Coordinator for Jay County, therapist, and a case manager.  She is a licensed clinical addiction counselor in Indiana, a nationally certified counselor, and is working towards her licensure in mental health counseling.

She is a licensed clinical addiction counselor as well as holds the credential of a nationally certified counselor.  She is working toward her licensure in mental health counseling.

Within the structure of the Ballard and Sons ministry Kayla will serve as our aftercare coordinator.  We have contracted with her company, Torchlight Counseling Services LLC.  (www.torchlightcounseling.com ) for these services.  She will be responsible for all case follow-up with families, including but not limited to: assisting in aftercare and post funeral management, case management, following up with families, providing grief support, and will provide celebration events once a year to honor lost loved ones.  The goal is to help in moving our friends and families back to a better state of mental health and to show support throughout the year.

"After being away from my community for a period of time during my college years and post graduation years,  I am looking forward to being back in this area.  I see a need in my community, and am looking forward to using my skill set in the community I've always known as home.  I have never seen a greater need for God to use me than through working and developing new opportunities for mental health in the ministry of my family.  My family has a wonderful ministry in Middletown and Daleville, and I look forward to seeing what I can bring to it in providing as much support to families as possible.  I look forward to the challenge and pray for God's peace to all I come in contact with."     Kayla Hall  M.A. NCC, LCAC

Available in 2013

Pet Cremation Services
Beginning in January 2013, Ballard and Sons will provide cremation services for pets and animals.  The Ballards have contracted with a local service to provide this greatly needed service to our communities at a very low cost. We have seen the need in our area and we want you to know that we heard you and care.

Catering for Celebration Dinners
Many times after a service, families wish to gather for a meal.  In a small community, churches will often host a dinner for their church members or others.
However, for those that do not have this option, we can provide it for you at a minimal cost through two local catering services.  We would be honored to let our family serve you in this way.

Complete Viewing and Celebration Service in Your Church Choice
The church celebration service is quickly becoming important and preferred in many communities such as ours.  If you choose, we can coordinate the visitation and the service in any church you would desire in any community including Anderson.  Many times this can accommodate the largest viewing/service.  In so doing, the Ballard family will honor your loved one with a memorial to the church of your choice in the name of the deceased.  This allows a family to have the best possible accommodation for a large celebration, and honor both your loved one and the facility or church you desire.

Five Cremation Packages
We offer five cremation packages for our families which range from immediate services to traditional services which include the visitation.

Limousine Services
Our family now provides limousine services for each of our families as part of our total commitment to you.  Each of our drivers show care and support to our families.  Additionally, each has a CDL license in the state of Indiana.  This service is included in all celebration services including many forms of cremation.

Other Services
DVD picture tributes, balloon releases, special bagpipe tribute, military honors for all branches, and thumb prints jewelry are all added touches that can be made for each funeral.  This can be discussed during arrangements as to what tribute may be the best fit for your loved one.  In addition our aftercare coordinator can discuss with a family special ways to honor a loved one's memory if they are looking for something unique.
