Middletown...Robert Donald Williams, MD, 90, resident of Middletown, passed away Monday evening at his residence.
He was born in Union County, Indiana, June 1, 1921, the son of Frank and Gertrude McCormick Williams, Sr.
He was a graduated from Liberty High School in Union County Indiana.
He was a graduate of Indiana University receiving his BA and Medical degrees.
He was in private practice in Anderson for over 40 years.
He practiced at St. Johns Hosptial and was a member of the Blue Bird Association and the American Legion.
He was a US Army veteran of WW 2.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Beverly S. (Combs) of Middletown, 4 children: Michael Williams (Marsha) of Indianapolis, Terry Newman (Joe) of Anderson, Paula Cunningham of Chesterfield, and Patricia Williams (Mohamjend) of Dubaie, UAE, a special grandson: Bob Parry of Middletown, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces an nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Frank Williams, Jr. and Keith Williams and 1 sister: Martha Carmichael.
Services will be private at Ballard and Sons Fuenral Home, Middletown Chapel.
Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
