Albert "Fred" Frederick Price Iii

Albert "Fred" Frederick Price III, 79, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday January 11, 2022.  He was born on August 31, 1942 in Muncie, IN a son of the late Albert F. and Nina (Funkhouser) Price Jr.

Fred was 1960 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and a veteran of the National Guard.  He had a passion for farming and farmed a good majority of his life. However, Fred did retire from GM Delco Remy in Anderson following over 40 years of Service. Fred enjoyed buying cars, loved Corvettes and even had a Hot wheels Corvette collection.  He also enjoyed collecting coins. Lionel Trains and playing lottery tickets. Fred was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, Middletown American Legion Post 216, and was a lifetime member of the AmVets.

Fred is survived by his children, Andrea (Donnie) Price Napier, Angela Wall, Frederick "Fred" Price IV, Anessa (Eric) Richwine, and Nick (Suzanne) Petro; grandchildren, Kira, Hunter and Jerin Napier, Michael Wall, Karen (Mark) Roberts, Sydnee (Fiancé': Jacon Conner) Lewis and Evan Jacobs; seven great grandchildren; sister, April (Steve) Swim; several nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 4:00pm Sunday January 16, 2022 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Phil Rogers officiating and military honors provided by the Middletown American Legion and the US Army. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until time of service on Sunday.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Middletown Food Pantry.
