Anna Fay Keel, 67, of Anderson passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. She was born in Anderson on August 22, 1958, to the late Bedford and Elsie (Shelton) Noble.

Anna retired after 20 years of dedicated work at Guide Lamp. She was known for caring about everyone and always doing her best. Anna graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1976, where she was a cheerleader and valedictorian of her class. She later attended Ball State University. Anna was a lifetime member of the Anderson VFW Post #266.

She enjoyed many things in life, including softball, camping, and singing, especially country music. Anna loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, which meant more to her than anything.

She loved reading and often turned it into friendly competitions to see who could finish a book first. Family game nights were special to her, especially playing the game “Washers,” where she was known for being very good and winning many tournaments. Anna also enjoyed playing various card games over the years but most recently became an expert at UNO.

Anna enjoyed cooking and she often called her dishes “Anna’s concoctions.” She also liked crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper, and watching her favorite shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Texas Ranger.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers that have extended great care to Anna over the last couple of years.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ashley Keel (Adam Law) of Daleville, Aubrey Keel (David Andis) of Anderson, Justin Keel of Anderson; special niece/daughter, Kelli Noble of Muncie; grandchildren, Logan Law, Rylie Law, Angel Andis, Kyle Andis, Ny’lah, Jasohn, Jaycee Keel; sister Wilma VanWinkle; brother, James Noble; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Nannie Klecka, Norma Alfrey, Charles Noble, Hazel Heidemann, Pernia Pawloski, and Bedford Ray Noble.
