Middletown...Bernard Harmon Griggs, Jr., 74, resident of Middletown passed away November 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Henry County, July 17, 1946 the son of Harmon and Katherine Parrish Griggs.
He had worked for Ford Motors Company for 33 years retiring in 2004. He was a member of the UAW and the Sixth Street Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
Survivors are his wife, Robin (Solomon) of Middletown whom he married in June of 1966, 3 children, Tammy Langston of Indianapolis, Tony Griggs (Mary Jane) of Florida, and Bryant Griggs of Plainfield, 1 sister, Mary Romine (Larry) of Middletown, and six grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. with burial at Miller Cemetery, Middletown..
Friends may call on Monday from noon until the time of the services. Guests are asked to wear a face covering, social distance and sanitize their hands during their stay.
