Cheryl Thomas

Cheryl Darlene Thomas, 68, of Cadiz passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026. She was born on December 30, 1957, in Anderson to the late Fred Earl and Janet Elaine (Boyer) Shaw.

Cheryl grew up in Pennsylvania and Virginia before moving back to Indiana and on September 8, 2001, she married William Thomas. They spent a total of 39 wonderful years together. Cheryl had a passion for helping others when ever she could.

She is survived by her husband, William Thomas; son, Robert Peterson; sister, Carol (Marvin) Green; brother, Arthur (Andrea) Shaw; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Shaw.

At Cheryl’s request there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown.
