Denise W. Kinney, 70, of Daleville passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. She was born April 4, 1953, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Raymond and Letha (Landry) VanBelkum.
Denise is a graduate of Oak Hill High School; she then went on to Midwestern Baptist College where she met her husband and obtained a bachelor’s degree in religious education and music. Denise was very active within Grace Baptist Church. She loved to sing in the choir, play the organ, and teach Sunday school. Denise also enjoyed driving the bus routes for the church. She loved Knitting, Crocheting, and Sewing. She was a very accomplished seamstress. Denise was a loving mother to all three of her children.
Denise is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tim Kinney; 3 children, Jeremiah (Cassie) Kinney, Lisa (Peter) Renberg and Nathan Kinney; brother, Dennis (Sally) VanBelkum; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Denise is preceded in death by her parents.
There will not be public services. A private burial will be held at Beech Grove Cemetery.
