Gordon Kevin Pease

Gordon Kevin Pease, 75, of Middletown passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Ascension Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on June 3, 1949 in Dayton, OH, a son to the late Alvin and Irene (Esterline) Pease.

Gordon was a 1967 graduate of Middletown High School. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp and served in the Vietnam War; he also learned diesel mechanic skills during his service. Over the years, Gordon farmed mostly raising hogs and was good at fixing tractors. Gordon also worked and eventually retired from Chrysler Corporation. In his spare time, he loved watching westerns and movies especially when actors Clint Eastwood and John Wayne were involved.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janet Pease of Middletown; sons, Gordon (Amber) Kevin Pease, Jr. of Middletown and Adam (Amanda) Pease of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Raelynn Pease; siblings, Alvina Stanley of Chesterfield and Brian Pease of Middletown; sisters-in-law, Katherine Cannell of Holiday, Florida and Sharon Cannell of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, nephew, Jerry Lee Stanley; brother-in-law, Jerry Stanley.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial to follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
