Harry Edward Boze

Harry Edward Boze, 92, of Middletown passed away on Thursday January 13, 2022 at his residence. He was born on January 18, 1929 in Madison County, IN, he was the last surviving child of the late Herman and Elsie (Toombs) Boze.
Harry was a fantastic story teller and a talented boxer. He loved the outdoors, birds, tractors and a good cup of coffee. Harry was a 1948 graduate of Anderson High School and was employed with Delco Remy until 1958 then retired from the Anderson Police Department in 1980. He was a veteran of the US Army and served from 1951-1953.
Harry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Phyllis (Riggs) Boze of Middletown; children, Linda Andler, Diana Proia and Harry E. (Eddie) Boze Jr.; several special nieces and nephews; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his siblings, Herman E. Boze Jr., Pauline M. Hogan, William Paul Boze, Edna May Wolff, Joe M. Boze, Faye Carmichael, Robert C. Boze, Marion F. Boze, Mary C. Clemons, Donald Boze, and Barbara J. Underwood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. You may express condolences or share a memory of Harry at www.ballardandsons.com
