Janet Rogers

Janet Rogers, 75, of Muncie passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, peacefully at home. She was born on July 20, 1950, in Anderson to the late Donald and Betty (Crosley) Litchfield.

In 1968 Janet graduated from Daleville High School. She went on to marry the love of her life Dennis Rogers in 1970. Janet was a loving wife and wonderful caretaker of Dennis before his passing in 2019. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and attending her Hope Bible Church in Cowan. Janet was a very generous and thoughtful gift giver. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Lisa Rogers and Stacey (Greg) Osburn; grandchildren, Audrey and Max; siblings, Cindy Croke, Jo (Dave Redding) Veach, Jim (Christine) Litchfield and Jackie DeLong; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Rogers.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville. Burial will follow at Saunders Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
