Jeanne Eleanor Bucher, 92, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was born on June 11, 1930 a daughter to the late Frank and Mary (Hendry) Scott.
Jeanne enjoyed her family and loved to cook. In her teenage years she showed Belgium horses and won many state awards.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Phillip A. Bucher; 2 daughters, Marta Jean Brown Stowers of Indianapolis and Marianne Brown-Giles (Bernard) of Fruitport, Michigan; 2 sons, Michael Keith (Yvette) Brown of Middletown, Indiana and Mark Steven (Ingrid) Brown of Furth, Germany; a step-son, Bradley Allen (Renee) Bucher of Bowling Green, Kentucky; a step-daughter, Melissa Sue (Gregory Jr.) Stein of Carmel, Indiana; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Scott, her sisters, Marcia Myers and Marilyn Richman, brother-in laws, Ross Meyers and Frederick Richman, and grandson, Joey Stotts.
Services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville with Tyson Priest officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association located at 225 N.
