Jerry Willey

July 2, 1955 — March 9, 2026

Middletown

Jerry Willey, 70, of Middletown passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at St. Vincent in Anderson. He was born in New Castle on July 2, 1955, to the late William and Lorena (Morgan) Willey.

He was a 1974 graduate of Eastern Hancock High School.

Jerry was a loyal and hardworking man who took great pride in caring for his family and helping others. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and could fix just about anything. Whether it was repairing a car, building something from scratch, or tackling a project around the house, Jerry was always the person people called when something needed done.

He loved bringing people together and especially enjoyed hosting large family gatherings where everyone could spend time laughing, sharing stories, and making memories.

Jerry also had a passion for 4-H and everything related to raising and showing pigs.

Jerry will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and the way he was always willing to lend a helping hand. His legacy lives on in the many things he built, fixed, and the countless memories shared with family and friends.

He and Kellie attended Middletown Church of the Nazarene.

Jerry shared his life with his wife, Kellie, and together they built a home centered on family. He embraced everyone who became part of their lives and loved them as his own. Jerry was also a proud and devoted presence in the lives of the three grandchildren they were raising, serving as a steady father figure and role model.
