James "Jim" Whaley

James “Jim” Whaley, 57, of Anderson passed away on Sunday June 28, 2026. He was born on June 6, 1969, in Ames, Iowa to Michael and Karen Whaley.

A motorcycle enthusiast Jim loved being out on his bike. He was a long-time truck driver and handyman. Jim spent most of his free time with the love of his life, Lori.

Jim is survived by his sons, Chase (Chelsea) Whaley and Cory (Cati) Whaley; 11 grandchildren; father, Michael (Billie) Whaley; siblings, David (Rosemary) Whaley, John (Shelly) Whaley and Mary (Brian) Headlee; the love of his life, Lori Williams; best friend and mother of his children, Wendy (Steve) Haisley; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Whaley.
