Judith Ann Koger

Judy was a 1956 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School. She earned degrees from both Wright State University and Ball State University. Judy loved education, reading and European history. She retired from SAS Shoes in Chesterfield following a long career. Previously, she worked as a realtor and at the Delaware County Humane Society. Judy was also the office manager for Millers Merry Manor in Middletown.

Judy was an active member of the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren in Middletown. An avid golfer, she golfed for many years on the ladies’ league at Valley View Golf Club. Judy loved animals and gardening, spending many hours in her beautiful flower gardens. She also enjoyed art, music and playing the piano. Judy was a huge sports fan and loved rooting for the Indiana Pacers and Fever. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Judy’s memory are her 3 children, Sheila (Randy) Corn of Pendleton, John Koger of Wyoming, Michigan and Dustin (Sassana) Koger of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Corn (fiancée- Jess Gillum), Kayleigh (Logan) Babb, Audrey (Noah) Fawett, Cain Morgan Koger, Kelsey Koger (Jake Hank), Ryan, Grace and Cassidy Koger; great-grandchildren, Kaia, Micah and Rhea Koger, Alaina Fawcett, Daniella Babb.

In addition to her parents Judy was preceded in death by brother, James Strough, nephew Jimmy Strough, and step-father, Al Ohnheiser.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Doug Hinton officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Summit Cemetery at a later date.
