Judith A. Norris-Crockett

Judith A. Norris-Crockett, 86, of Springport, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Henry Community Health in New Castle. She was born on October 9, 1939, in Mooreland, a daughter of the late Robert O. Replogle and Margaret S. (Humbles) Ritchie.

Judy was a 1957 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and later graduated from Indiana Business College. She dedicated 15 years of service working for the Federal Land Bank in Greenfield.

Judy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing, dancing, and gardening, and enjoyed beginning each morning with her favorite coffee from McDonald’s. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to laugh, and was known for always being on time. Though private in nature, Judy had a caring and compassionate heart, especially when it came to her children and family.

Judy is survived by her children, Ted (Lin) Norris, Tom (Lori) Norris, Tod (Cindy) Norris and Tab (Laura) Norris; siblings, Janie Corbin, Charles Replogle, Jo Ann (Larry) Osborn and Jeanine Ann (Steve White) Metzger; daughter-in-law, Linda Norris; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Joseph Norris; second husband, Jim Crockett and companion, Bill Gentis; grandson, Mat Norris; granddaughter, Aubrey Leann Norris.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Tad Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service on Saturday.
