Lisa Engle-Callahan

Lisa Engle Callahan, 66, of Anderson, Indiana, fell asleep in Christ on 08-03-2026. She was a woman of deep faith who placed her hope in God.

Lisa was born on March 11, 1960, in Anderson, Indiana to Richard and Marita Engle. She adored her older brother, Rick. She graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1978 and earned a bachelor's degree from Anderson University. Those who knew Lisa will remember her for being a free-spirited friend and peace-loving soul that lived a life that embodied the values of love, peace and authentic connection to others. Lisa never knew a stranger and worked hard at being a friend.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Marita Engle and her daughters Sara Edmondson and Heidi Emmerling and son, Logan Emmerling. She had 2 grandsons that she treasured, Michael and Jayce.

The family takes comfort in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus, and they rejoice that she is home. Lisa fought the good fight and finished the race. She is at home with the Lord.

A private family service was held to honor Lisa’s life. The family appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and memories during this time.
