Mary Anne Huddleston

September 21, 1949 — June 17, 2022

Mary Anne Huddleston, 72, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022. She was born September 21, 1949 in Anderson, IN to the late Paul & Martha Welker.

Mary was a lifetime member of the VFW. She enjoyed crafting and decorated her house with her own country creations. She maintained a daily journal in her unique and beautiful penmanship.  Watching Westerns with her husband was a favorite pastime. She had a big heart for her many pets, and each was spoiled.  Many stray cats who found their way to Mary's front porch were fed, cared for, and loved. Her pork cutlets were a family favorite, and she always made enough homemade noodles so that everyone not only got her or his second or third serving, but also left with some to take home. Mary loved her family dearly and couldn't be bothered with questions concerning her own health until she received a full report of family life from her children. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Never did she miss an opportunity to greet her family at her front door with a loving smile and a sweet embrace.

She is survived by her husband, David Huddleston; son, Rick (Shannon) Cyman; two stepsons, David and Rick Huddleston; a brother, Paul (Roberta) Welker; grandchildren, Jackie (Scott) Augustyniak, Tristan Huddleston, Ricky (Brittany) Cyman, Savy Walker, Lainey Huddleston, and Stevie Cyman; and great grandchildren Benny, David, and Alex Augustyniak, and Layla and Ricky Cyman; and her canine companion, Abby.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Welker Abbott.

The family will be holding private services at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to your local humane society in her honor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home. You may express condolences or share a memory of Mary at www.ballardandsons.com .
