Michael Wayne Anderson, 74, of Chesterfield, passed away on September 11, 2026. He was born in Muncie, IN, on January 10, 1952, to the late Sylvester and Illa (Sweet) Anderson.
Michael attended Shenandoah schools and worked as a police officer in Dayton, TX. He also worked at Valvoline Oil Refinery.
Michael is survived by his children, Steve (Tischa) Hilligoss and Lori Abner.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
According to the family's wishes, there will be no services. Cremation will take place with Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. You may express condolences or share a memory of Michael at www.ballardandsons.com.
