Michael Angelo Baker

On April 21, 1959, Mike left Heaven to be born on Earth. On April 21, 2024, Mike re-entered Heaven due to God calling him back home. He is the son to the late Thomas and Lovina Baker.

His family was the most important thing in his life. His grandkids were his absolute pride and joy. He loved woodworking, sports, and working on the house. He very much enjoyed watching golf, Mike was always in the action when it came to March Madness. He was an avid Colts fan and loved to watch them. Mike also enjoyed coaching his sons for many years as kids. Mike loved his Lord Jesus Christ.

Mike is survived by the love of his life for 45 years, Cheryl Baker; son, Phillip Baker; daughter, Kelly Lucas (Jesse); son, Josh Baker (Devan) and daughter, Brittney Griffee; four siblings, Dennis, Julie, Tim, and Cindy; eleven grandchildren, Aubree Baker, Cameron, Baileigh, and McKaylynn Estes, Jaiden, Avery, Landry, and Callaway Baker, Bently Baker-Clark, Ezekiel and Malakai Griffee.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Kenneth Brown.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Daleville Chapel with Mark Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Saunders Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Thursday.
