Michelle Lynn Golden 62 of Anderson passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was born July 31, 1960 to Donald and Rita (Caster) Golden.
Michelle was a 1979 graduate of Highland High School. She was a member of East Side Church of God in Anderson. While working as a nurse, Michelle had a passion for Alzheimer and Dementia patients. She enjoyed spending time with family and loved her grandkids and her dog, Lyla. She supported 4-H and athletics that all her kids were involved in. Michelle enjoyed arts and crafts, painting quilts and landscaping.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Blake Shaw of Anderson and Brandon Barnell of Muncie; parents, Donald and Rita Golden of Arizona, 2 sisters, Kimberly (George) Haithcock of Virginia and Michele Charles of Fishers; brother, Donny (Rhonda) Golden of Arizona; grandchildren, Haley Shaw of Anderson, Bryn-Lee Barnell and Bray-Lee Barnell of Portland; great grandchildren, Corbin, Oliver and Scarlett; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Brett Phipps.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Donny Golden officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at 5635 West 96th Street, #100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46278. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
