Mickey Cole

Mickey Cole, 65, of Kennard passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at St. Vincent Anderson. He was born on November 18, 1960, in New Castle to the late Jack and D. June (Gibbons) Cole.

A 1979 graduate of Shenandoah High School. Mickey drove a truck for S&H Trucking and E&B. He also worked for the town of Middletown. He loved serving his communities of Cadiz and Kennard volunteering on the fire departments in each town. Mickey enjoyed dirt and asphalt racing and pulling tractors. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Mickey is survived by his wife, Darlene Cole, children, Mike Cole, Autumn Cole, Zach Gibbons, Rianna Hanlon and Anthony Kress; grandchildren, Sophie Cole and Zoee Mahone; brother, Shane (Ashley) Cole; sisters, Diana Ewing and Jackie (Dewayne) Liebrandt; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Mickey is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jay Ewing.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at Greensboro Church of the Nazarene 125 E. Main St.  New Castle, IN 47362.
