Paul Brian Hilburt

Paul Brian Hilburt, 59, of Chesterfield passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield following an extended illness.  He was born in Anderson, IN on August 27, 1962, a son of the late Robert and Patricia (McGuire) Hilburt.
Paul was a 1980 graduate of Madison Heights High School and then graduated from Indiana State University with an associates degree.  He had been employed with the Indiana Department of Motor Vehicles for 30 years until his illness and served as the president of the residents council at Miller's Merry Manor, a position Paul took seriously. He loved attending any event that included his nieces and nephews to show his support.  Paul was an avid sports fan, especially the Cincinnati Reds and Anderson High School basketball and dearly loved his dog, Maggie.
Paul is survived by his brother, Joe (Beverly) Hilburt of Sulphur Springs; nieces and nephews, Kayla Hilburt of Chesterfield, Patrick (Tiffany) Hilburt of Sulphur Springs, Richie Madewell of Incheon, South Korea; great nephew Grant Hilburt of Sulphur Springs; several cousins and Paul's extended McCarty family.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, James Michael Hilburt and David Hilburt; sister, Joan Madewell.
Paul's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Miller's Merry Manor for the wonderful care given over the last few years.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Paul's name to the Activities Department at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield.
