Paul Richard Woollard

Paul Richard Woollard, loving husband and father of three, peacefully passed on Tuesday June 22, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 75. Paul was born on June 9, 1946 to the late Forrest and Lida Woollard.

Paul was the last person to graduate from Mooreland High School in 1964. On August 21, 1965, Paul married his wife Patricia Woollard, and they raised three children together. He worked as a machine repairman at Borg Werner and retired from Chrysler in New Castle, IN.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved to spend the winter in Florida with his wife, travel the world, watch races, and tell dad jokes to everyone he met. His hobbies included "restoring" Snapper lawn mowers, gardening, and learning about History.

He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Lida Woollard, his daughter-in-law Amy (Blakley) Woollard, his sister Doris (Woollard) Tomes, sister-in-law June (Tucker) Woollard, and brother-in-law Mike Monaghan.

He is survived by his Wife Patricia (Musick) Woollard; his children Tony Woollard, Lois (Dale) Griggs, Tim Woollard; his grandchildren Sloan (Logan) Baker, Mason (Kristen) Griggs, Gavin Griggs, and Blake Woollard; his great grandchild Poppy Baker; siblings John Woollard, Gusty Monaghan, Vernie Woollard, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, 698 North 5th, Middletown with Pastors Dillon Ketcham and Philip C. Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow at 3:30 at The Brick Cemetery of Hagerstown, 5352 North Brick Church Road, Hagerstown, IN.

Friends may call at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the services.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
