Penny D. Fenwick, 78, of Evansville and formerly of Daleville, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at West River Nursing Home in Evansville. She was born May 22, 1944, in Anderson, Indiana; daughter of the late Alvin and Mary (Hessey) Hartman.
Penny was instrumental in getting the Daleville ambulance service started and had been employed through the years at the local convenience store, and ice cream shop. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Penny is survived by her son, Brian (Nancy) Fenwick of Anderson; daughter, Renee (Robb) Frimming of Evansville; grandchildren, Shannon (Kaylin) Thompson, Seth (Amanda) Thompson, Bryce Frimming, Camden Frimming, Brian C. Fenwick, Sahara Fenwick, and Aeva Frimming; great grandchildren, Gage Thompson, Kaydence Thompson, Owen Thompson, and Jaxson Thompson; brother, Terry (Teresa) Hartman; cousins, Darlene (Victor) Roemer and Melody (Stephen) Smith, along with several other cousins, niece and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey L. Fenwick.
Services will be held privately with burial at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville. In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society at
