Rickey D. Braden

Rickey D. Braden, 74, of Middletown passed away on Sunday February 1, 2026, at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born on September 25, 1951, in Muncie to the Late Marion Braden and Lori (Hall) Gift.

He was a 1969 graduate of Shenandoah High School. Rickey retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, hiking and watching TV. Rickey previously owned a Trading Card shop in Middletown.

Rickey is survived by his daughters, Carrie (Braden Oakes) Braden and Tina Schools; grandchildren, Zoe, Kendall, Emmett, Amelia, Serena, Abigail and Jerimiah; great grandchildren, Grayson, Micah and Sawyer; step children, Jennifer and Daniel; step grandchildren, Jackson, Alayna, Bryce, Carter, Michael and Mason.

In addition to his parents Rickey is preceded in death by a step son, Michael; brother, Jerry Braden.
