Robert "Bob" Lowell Bricker

Robert "Bob" Bricker, 88, of Anderson passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis. He was born on November 26, 1933 in Anderson to the late Glen and Audrey (Bond) Bricker.

Bob was a 1951 graduate of Anderson High School and received an Associates Degree in Business in 2004 from Anderson University. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1951 to 1955. Bob worked as an industrial electrician for General Motors in Anderson and retired in 1992 after 37 years of service. He attended the Middletown Church of the Nazarene was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, former member of the Indiana Firefighters Association, served on the Madison County Homeland Security Group and was a volunteer firefighter for Chesterfield Fire Department for 10 years.

Bob is survived by his children, Gina Faber, Chris Bricker and Jill (Brad) Scott; step daughter, Julie (Keith) Richie; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Lindsay) Bricker; infant son, Timothy Wayne Bricker; sister, Lucinda Broyles and brother, Forrest Bricker.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, June 24, 2022 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Phil Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until time of service.

In lieu of flowers Bob asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross.
