Robert David Mundell Iii

Robert David “BJ” Mundell III, 34 of Chesterfield passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was born on September 28, 1989 to the late Robert David Mundell II and April Scudder.

BJ loved his wife more than anything, he was a community servant who never met a stranger and would brighten up a room anywhere he was. He would do anything for anybody and always had a smile. BJ loved his family; he was passionate about kids and loved to make them smile. BJ enjoyed camping, kayaking and spending time at the Middletown Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Mundell (Corn); sister, Heather Mundell; step-sisters, Mackenzie Scudder, Kelsey Putnam, Kelsie Best and Erica Reum; step-brother, JD Scudder; step-dad, Jonathan Scudder; niece, Rosie Dunn; nephews, Robbie Mundell, Jon Dunn and Laban Dunn; several more nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Mundell I and Phyllis Mundell; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Bowlin.

Services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.
