Roberta Jane Allison

Roberta “Bobbie” Jane Allison, 71, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, May 22, 2025, following an extended illness. Born on March 22, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late James McWithey (2009) and Dolores (Loehr) Lawson (1993).

Bobbie attended Highland High School in Anderson and was known in her younger years for her talent in bowling — a sport she truly loved. A devoted NASCAR fan, she also found great joy in watching her favorite television shows, especially her soap operas.

She is survived by her three sons, Jerry, Brian, and Steve Allison; two grandchildren, Alan and Austin Allison; and her sisters, Sandy Etchison and Karen Reel; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, James Allison (2006), and her brother, Richard McWithey (2011).
