Victor Allan Eichhorn

Artist and adventurer Victor Allan Eichhorn passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, two days before his 78th birthday.
A veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, Victor was a curious and talented metal sculpture artist who enjoyed travel. One of his great joys was teaching art and inspiring creativity in others, especially blacksmithing.
He is survived by his son, Victor Clinton Dieter Eichhorn; daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Collier; brothers, Gregory and Daniel and many nieces and nephews.
Victor is preceded in death by his wife, Clata Jean; brother, Curtis and parents, Elmer and Vera.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown, IN with Rev. Mary Collier officiating. Burial to follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Pendleton Artist Society, where Victor dedicated many volunteer hours, are greatly appreciated. They can be found online at www.pasgallery119.org
