Obituary

Terry Barttrum Jr., 49, of Avon passed away May 28, 2022.  He was born on November 24, 1972 a son of Terry Barttrum Sr., and late Jane Barttrum (Cavanaugh).

Terry was a paramedic for lifeline, a paramedic for Delaware County Ems, Henry County and Wishard. He was a volunteer firefighter and reserve police officer in Albany. He was also a reserve police officer for the city of Muncie. Terry enjoyed fishing with his boys and going to fishing tournaments. Terry also enjoyed playing football and had played throughout his school years, he loved the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys, he also enjoyed watching the Cincinnati reds play. 

Terry is survived by 2 sons; Derrick Barttrum and Cadon Barttrum; his father; Terry Barttrum Sr.; 2 brothers, Tim (Ami) Barttrum and Chris Barttrum; a nephew, Kurt Barttrum; 2 nieces, Kierston Barttrum and Brilee Barttrum; and several aunts and uncles.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Ellen Barttrum.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville.  Memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation at 911 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
